Governance overview

A product direction for keeping extended engineering work understandable.

A record that explains the work

A long-running change can cross several decisions, tools and code revisions. A useful record explains the objective, the intended approach, the responsibility of each piece of work and the evidence supporting the result. Activity alone does not provide that explanation.

Make engineering work reviewable

A future Graphtia Governance workflow connects an objective to a plan, bounded work units, execution records, evidence and review. This conceptual product is not publicly available.

The engineering foundations

The current engineering code includes task and plan definitions, bounded work units, plan-drift detection and canonical evidence records. These foundations inform the public concepts. They do not establish a released Governance interface or a supported integration.

A reviewable outcome

Consider replacing a payment adapter. The objective explains why it should change. A plan identifies the contract to preserve. Work units separate mapping, implementation and checks. Evidence records what was inspected or tested. Review compares those results with the original constraints.
