Findings
Keep observations connected to the context that supports them.
What a finding represents
A finding is an observation produced by the analysis system. It should be read with its subject, source evidence and analysis context. Findings help organize investigation; they are not interchangeable with test failures, runtime incidents or a complete security audit.
Information to inspect
Subject: the source entity or scope to which the finding applies.
Observation: what the analyzer identified and how it is described.
Evidence: source locations or supporting relationships that explain the observation.
Currentness: the indexed revision and any mismatch with the source being viewed.
Limits: partial capability, truncation or unresolved semantics affecting the result.
From observation to decision
Open the source associated with the finding and read the surrounding code. Identify whether the observation matters to the current task. A relationship can be valid yet irrelevant to a proposed change; a limited result can still be useful if the limitation is recorded.
For example, if a finding directs attention to a shared validation boundary, inspect the consumer contracts and relevant checks. Record what you verified separately from what the analyzer suggested.
