Privacy notice
How information is handled on the current Graphtia website and early-access waitlist.
Updated September 10, 2026
Who operates this website
Graphtia is the name of a project operating from the United States. The business is not yet incorporated. References to Graphtia, we or us in this notice mean the people operating this project and website. Contact us at info@graphtia.com about this notice.
Information you provide
When you join the waitlist, we store your email address, a normalized version used to prevent duplicates, the signup source, status and relevant signup or status-change dates. We use this information to maintain your place and provide the availability and early-access updates you requested. Joining does not require access to your repository.
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use that correspondence to respond to your inquiry. Please do not send passwords, access keys or confidential source code.
Website measurement and browser storage
The website uses first-party measurement to understand visits to public pages. A random identifier is saved in your browser’s local storage under graphtia_visitor. The server stores a protected identifier with the page path and event time, allowing repeat visits to be counted without storing your email in the measurement event.
The browser identifier persists until your browser storage is cleared; it does not have an automatic expiry. Clearing this website’s local storage removes the identifier from your device but does not delete events already received. You can also restrict JavaScript or browser storage through your browser settings. Authenticated staff visits are excluded from public page measurement.
Administrative sign-in uses session cookies for protected areas. Public waitlist visitors do not need to sign in. Hosting and security systems may process connection information such as an IP address, request time and browser details to serve the website and investigate abuse.
For new visits, we estimate the country of the network connection using a geolocation database held on our server. Measurement events store the country when available, not the IP address. We do not send visitors’ IP addresses to a geolocation service. Network locations can be inaccurate, particularly when a VPN is used; they do not establish residence. The measurement respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.
Access, service providers and security
Access to waitlist information is restricted to authorized administrators. Hosting, database and email services process information as needed to run the website, maintain backups and handle correspondence. Information may be processed outside the state or country where you live. Contact us if you need more information about the current processing arrangements.
We use HTTPS for the public website and server-side access controls for administration. No method of storage or transmission is risk-free. The website does not currently offer product checkout, and the waitlist does not request payment details.
Retention and your choices
Waitlist information is retained to operate the list and handle related requests. There is no automatic expiry for waitlist records or measurement history in the current website. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your information, or to stop receiving waitlist updates. We may need to verify that the request concerns your address.
Copies may remain in restricted backups until those backups are replaced or removed. We will explain any applicable retention limitations when responding to a request. You can contact us about privacy questions regardless of where you live; any rights available under applicable law are unaffected by this notice.
Scope and changes
This notice covers the current website, waitlist and related correspondence. Product repository analysis, future accounts and commercial services will require further information before they become available. We will update this notice as the service changes and show the revised date here.
Account security testing
Customer accounts are currently restricted to authorized testing. Test account sessions record the connection IP, browser and device description, and an approximate city or region when available from a database held on our server. These details are visible to the account holder and authorized administrators. Location is an estimate of a network, not an exact address or GPS position.
A signed first-party device cookie is retained for up to one year to recognize returning browsers. It does not grant account access. Clearing it makes the browser appear new. New-browser notifications are limited to approved test addresses and may be sent through our configured email provider. Recognized-device records remain until the account is removed; session records expire for access after seven days.
